The Power of Relationships in Business: How to Build Your Circle with Intention

Success in business isn’t just about what you know—it’s about who you know and how you nurture those connections. Building intentional relationships, curating your circle, and strategically putting yourself in the right rooms will transform your business and personal growth.

Here’s how to make sure your network works for YOU:

1. Curate Your Circle with Intention

The people you surround yourself with will influence your mindset, opportunities, and success. Choose wisely.

✅ Follow the right leaders. Seek out experts in health and wellness, marketing, video, social media, finance, tech/AI, parenting, and personal development.
✅ Ask to be connected. Someone in your network knows who you need to meet. Speak up!
✅ Surround yourself with people who align. You don’t need to be in the same field—just aligned in values, ambition, and energy.

💡 Example: When I started aligning my business with Human Design, I spoke about it everywhere—on social media, in conversations, at networking events. Soon, I was being invited to speak, collaborate, and work with people who truly aligned with my vision.

2. Leverage Social Media to Expand Your Network

Your next business bestie, client, or collaborator could be one click away.

🔍 Click on hashtags in your niche.
👀 Look at who your favorite people follow.
📲 Engage with content that aligns with your mission.
💬 DM, comment & share work that resonates!

💡 Example: I met one of my BEST friends, Arion Castillo, on Instagram. She took my Declutter Your Life Challenge, and we randomly ran into each other at a coworking space. Now? We do holidays, networking, intention-setting, and business growth together.

3. Speak Your Goals Into Existence

The more you declare what you want, the more aligned people and opportunities will find you.

✅ Advocate for yourself. Don’t wait for someone to guess what you need. Ask.
✅ Don’t be afraid to pivot. Your current network may not get it, but they may know who does.
✅ Keep showing up. The right people will recognize and support you over time.

4. Build Your “Network of 90”

I created a list of 90 people I love, admire, and work with—my dream team of supporters, collaborators, and referral partners.

🌟 These are the people who refer me for podcasts, speaking events, consulting gigs, and dream clients.
🌟 If your list isn’t 90 yet, start with 10 or 20. Quality over quantity always.

💡 Think beyond business! Include:

• Other parents who understand your journey and support your balance.

• Mothers who are navigating entrepreneurship while raising kids.

• Spanish-speaking communities that align with your mission and can expand your reach.

• Educators, mentors, and friends who pour into your growth.

Imagine 90 cheerleaders, bringing you opportunities—that’s alignment.

5. Nurture & Reciprocate

Relationships are a two-way street. Pour into your people.

✨ Send a 2-minute email introduction—you might change someone’s entire career.
✨ Show up digitally & in person.
✨ If you have a 4 in your Human Design profile, THIS IS YOUR SUPERPOWER. Use it.

💡 Example: I always make a point to introduce people in my network to each other. Whether it's a mother looking for a supportive business community or a Spanish-speaking entrepreneur seeking connections, small gestures create big impact.

The right relationships will make your life & business easier. When you:
✅ Follow your intuition
✅ Take aligned action
